On Wednesday 11th March our Year 4 pupils attended the Quicksticks Hockey Finals at the Read School, Drax. To obtain a place in the final they played against 5 other teams, winning all of their matches, coming out overall winners of the competition. They played with determination, outstanding teamwork and sportsmanship throughout all the events. Their behaviour, manners and attitude were remarkable, making Mrs Hall extremely proud of them. A huge round of applause to all of the children who attended and to Mrs Hall, for her excellent coaching skills.
Mrs Hall is also pleased to say that they allpla yed exceedingly well and came third in the Selby Schools Final, meaning that they go through to the 2019/20 School Games Event which will be held at Queen Margaret’s School in Escrick. Further details will follow in due course.
