Children in need

On Friday, 19th November we supported Children in Need with a non-uniform day in the theme of ‘spots and stripes’! Sadly, we were unable to hold a Bake Sale but will hold one as soon as we are able. A total of £54 was donated, so thank you for once again supporting this fantastic event. Here’s a resume of how each class lent their support: -

The children in  Class 1 coloured in pictures of Pudsey Bear and made our very own spotty, Pudsey head bands. Take a peek below and see how fabulous they look! We read the story of Pudsey's Great Fundraiser and heard how important the money that we have raised is to Children in Need. We ended the day by having a mini disco!

Class 2 carried out activities based on a collaboration of Children in Need and Anti-bullying Week's campaign "One Kind Word". We created our own wall of kindness to celebrate how well we look after each other in Class 2.

The children in Class 3 made Pudsey Bear watercolour artwork and created our own Pudsey Bear designs. We also 'cracked the Pudsey code' to reveal words associated with Children in Need. We concluded our day by writing acrostic poems.
