The children in Class 1 and Year 2 have been working very hard over the past week as we have prepared our Nativity. We had a lot of very nervous children to begin with, but they have diligently learnt their lines and the repertoire of songs to go with the performance. Our Nativity starts in a Bethlehem inn, where three children live with their parents - a kind innkeeper and his wife, who have just had a baby. But the children are not keen on the new addition. They would rather have a dog, a donkey, or even a camel! The children learn that actually 'EVERYONE LOVES A BABY!' We would like to say a huge big thank you to Freya’s Mum who has helped to give our costumes some extra pizazz! Our costumes definitely twinkle, sparkle and certainly look the part, as you can see below from our lovely photos and the children’s faces say everything about how much they enjoyed dressing up and performing. Thank you to Mrs Alnajjar and the team in Class 1 who have worked hard to make a streamlined performance. Sorry that we couldn’t invite parents into school to see the performance live but it has been captured on video, so a link will be sent to all parents, so that they can enjoy it
