Class 2 have been making Roman goblets this week out of clay. The children have worked on their DT skills to shape and mould the clay into some fantastic designs. They added patterns and texture to their goblets to make them unique. Let’s hope they have no cracks in them when we fill them with wine (grape juice) on our Roman day which takes place on the Tuesday, 20th July! Please remember that Class 2 are dressing as Romans on this day, so if your child would like to dress up, there is no need to go to any expense, a white sheet will make a lovely toga.
