Class 2 have been writing letters this week campaigning for change! As you can see from the photos below Sophia, Olivia and Sophie are VERY proud of their beautiful work, well done. We have written to a couple of large manufacturing companies, highlighting the issues surrounding the use of palm oil and the impact this is having on our beautiful rainforests. The children really wanted to stand up for the lives of Orangutans across the globe as well as all other animals whose homes are being destroyed by deforestation!
As promised, the children have been writing non-chronological reports about some very interesting new species we found in the Amazon Rainforest during our trip there this half term. We hope that as many parents as possible were able to have a look at the published articles which are on display in the Class 2 ‘Amazonian-themed’ window from today.
