In school we believe that the most effective way to promote and make changes to our environment is by educating our children, as our planet’s future welfare is in their hands. Under the guidance of Mrs Hall, some of our children have undertaken a waste survey in school to ascertain how our rubbish is disposed of and how we could benefit by recycling more of our waste to take better care of our environment. The findings have led to larger paper bins being provided around school, along with further facilities for us to recycle plastic, metal, glass and garden waste.
Elenor & Mary in Class 3 have volunteered to become our new Eco Warriors and they will be promoting recycling in our school community by raising awareness amongst all of our children, parents and staff.
