This week we had a visit from local artists Naomi and Pepe who came to school and helped us in our learning about how nature can inspire art. We worked hard to create our own flower bowls, crafting the clay and painting them in beautiful colours. We are so excited to see what they look like when they come back from the kiln!
George says 'I tried to make a design that was beautiful. I looked at the shapes and the painting. Naomi and Pepe were really good and lovely!'
Artur says 'It was really, really good. I loved making the shapes and painting. I am excited to get my flower back!'
We will be welcoming Naomi and Pepe back after the half-term holiday to work in Class 2 and 3.
