Tag Rugby Festiva - Friday 6th June

Eva reported “We loved Tag Rugby! It was so much fun and we (Barlow) came in 1^st place.  There were 4 schools taking part including us and we played them each twice.  It all came down to the final and we won 2-1 and Sophia made the final try.  I would love to do it again.” Well done Team Barlow - Heidi, Sophia, Ralphie, Nate, Regan, Rhys, Oscar S, Lacey, Eva.

High 5s Netball Tournament - Friday 13^th June

Sophia reported “We recently went to the Read School to play netball and we played 3 games and won every one!  My favourite was the end game because the score was 2-1. The player who scored the last goal was Regan.  We made Barlow proud and came first. Our players were Eva, Olivia F, Sophia, Ralphie, Phoebe, Regan, Lacey, Oscar S and Scarlett.  As a reward we came back to school with a trophy.”

Swimming Tournament - Tuesday, 17^th June 2025

Sophia reported “We went to Tadcaster Swimming Pool to attend the Swimming Tournament and it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get there! This is one of my favourite sporting events. There were 7 competitions and it was so much fun.  Out of 6 schools, Barlow came 3^rd and only 1 point away from 2^nd place.  My favourite event was the front crawl, competing with the boys and I came 1^st.”  Our swimmers were Scarlett, Lacey, Eva, Olivia F, Oscar, Sophia, Heidi.

Sports Day

Following the poor forecast the previous week, we managed to have perfect weather for the event on Thursday, 12^th June.  Our children enjoyed taking part in the races and welcomed the extra practice for the big day. It was fantastic to see so many families in our audience and we applaud you for supporting your children and we hope that you enjoyed your afternoon as much as they did.  Thank you to the BPASA for providing refreshments raising £30.20 towards their funds and also thank you to everyone who helped on the finish line.
