During Hello Yellow, Mental Health Awareness Day on Friday, 9th October Ms Hargreaves created a wellbeing tree for the children to add their affirmation ‘leaves’ to. Ms Hargreaves is our ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) and thought that this day would be a fantastic opportunity for the children to discuss mental health awareness and positivity, especially in these unprecedented times.
The Wellness Tree ‘leaves’ were constructed of positive affirmations that the children have thought about themselves to create a display of their positive thoughts and feelings, thus enhancing their resilience and confidence whilst encouraging the children to feel good about themselves and others.
