As you will all be aware Rev Pete is leaving our community and it is with sadness that we see him go, as he has been such an integral part of our school, wider federation and community for so long. We kept Rev Pete back after the Christmas dinner and gently pushed him into a surprise assembly, so that the children could give thanks for his work with our school and say a proper goodbye to him. The children showed their appreciation by presenting him with the gift of a peacock picture, lovingly made from their individual fingerprints, representing his colourful and vibrant personality. Henry, (pictured below) read out a beautiful, heartfelt message that he had composed for the occasion. Goodbye Rev Pete we will ALL miss you but wish you the best of luck in your new journey and welcome you back to visit at any time.
