On Friday, 27th October Class 3 made a special visit to Eden Camp Modern History Museum to experience what life would have been like on the Home Front and the Front Line.
Henry (Year 6) said “On the Eden Camp trip we saw loads of cool and interesting things, including some things that were worth millions of pounds! My favourite things were the games and tanks because the tanks were so cool and the games were fun. I loved it so much.”
Eva (Year 5) said “When we arrived at Eden Camp most of us were familiar with the surroundings. We mostly enjoyed Hut 14, The Submarine. We discovered that most of the population of children during WW2 didn’t like The Blitz which we saw in Hut 5 and personally, I did not like it either! The most interesting thing was probably the big room, full of old army things. I loved it.”
