On Thursday, 21st September our children kick-started their musical journey by participating in an instrument demonstration and workshop with a team of musicians from North Yorkshire Music Service. During this demonstration, they witnessed the following instruments being played:
· Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello
· Woodwind: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Oboe & Bassoon
· Brass: Trumpet, Cornet, French Horn, Tenor Horn, Trombone, Euphonium
· Piano, Keyboard · Voice
As a Music Service, they offer lessons on the above instruments as well as percussion, drums, guitar, double bass, oboe, bassoon, cornet, French horn and tuba. If your child is interested in continuing their musical journey by beginning lessons on any musical instrument, please complete the slip below and return it to school. One of their team will then be in touch. If you have previously applied for lessons with the Music Service and are yet to receive a response, please do apply again.
The fees for instrumental and vocal tuition are as follows per term: Standard Group Lesson £80, Individual Tuition – 20 Minutes £156.30, Individual Tuition – 30 Minutes £219.50
