It was a busy day for some of the Class 3 children on Thursday, 7th March. As well as World Book Day they left school to attend a Football Tournament with other children from The White Rose Federation. The schools taking part were Barlow, Barkston Ash (2 teams), Burton Salmon, Chapel Haddlesey and St Joseph’s.
Barlow played well as a team in every one of the 5 rounds, finishing in a very esteemed joint 2nd place with Chapel Haddlesey! Everyone taking part were winners and they were exhausted at the end of the match, showing how much effort they had put in.
