I’m contacting you because you all have a connection to St Wilf’s and St Francis Churches through me (Rev Pete) and others coming into your school to lead Collective Worships/Assemblies, as well as you coming to our churches for school services at times like Harvest, Christmas and Easter, and of course me coming to have lunch at school.  As a church team we have put, and are continuing to put, resources together that are both adult focussed, but also a range of things especially for families.  These are mainly online, so that folks like you can connect with us at St Wilf’s and St Francis, and so continue to feel part of your church family from your homes.

As a starter I’ve attached 2 docs:

-Prayers with children

-A Guide to a wide variety of online worship resources

Sunday Worship:

A Sunday morning service will be livestreamed on this YouTube channel every Sunday morning at 10.30am.

These will be the same kinds of services a lot of people will be familiar with eg Communion, Celtic Communion, Morning Prayer and Family Communion, ie a loosely similar pattern to what happens in both churches.

So, the monthly pattern we hope to follow will be:

                1st Sunday: Morning Prayer

                2nd Sunday: Family Communion

                3rd Sunday: Celtic Communion

                4th Sunday: Common Worship Communion

These services will be led “live “ by me and some of my colleagues.

We will lead these services from our own homes.

To access this live Sunday morning worship, click on the link above to get to the YouTube page. The live videos should appear at 10.30 on Sundays.

Midweek:

In addition to this live Sunday worship, midweek Rev Rob, Rev Hannah and Rev Pete will be recording shorter worship/reflection and family focussed videos that will be uploaded the parish YouTube account for you to access.

Children and Families:

There will also be a weekly Family Focus Worship Activity Sheet for use at home. This will be posted online.

All these things will be publicised on:

The Parish Website: www.stwilfridsparish.com

Facebook: facebook.com/StWilfridsBrayton

As well as our A Church Near You page and Blogger

NB Please do pass this email on to anyone else you think might appreciate it!

Finally, a huge, huge thanks to Revds Rob and Hannah Suekarran, and the rest of the amazing team at St Wilf’s and St Francis for making all this possible!

Take care and God bless, all!

Rev Pete
