Sports day

On Tuesday, 27th June we welcomed all of the children from Year 3 to 6 across our federation to join us for a Sports Day which was a huge success. Luckily, the weather held off and we were able to complete the sprint, bean bag and skipping races with friendly competition being engaged in by all competitors. Each pupil competed individually against their peers from schools across our Federation, but they were also competing to gain points for their schools too.

Every pupil at Barlow demonstrated superb behaviour, perseverance and effort during the whole afternoon. After all of the points were added up, we found out that Barlow won the event! Chapel Haddlesey came in second with Burton Salmon finishing in third place. Well done to everyone who took part, you all gave a great representation of yourselves and of our school.

Annelise - "I enjoyed being with my friends from the other schools and catching up with them."

Scarlett - It's not about winning, it's about having fun. My favourite part was when I got to see all my friends with a big smile on their faces when they did really well. "
