Rugby Club

Background:
The Government provides funding called the PE and Sport Premium to primary schools in order to improve the provision of physical education and sport. All state-maintained schools, academies, middle schools, special schools and pupil referral units which have primary aged pupils receive the funding.

This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on provision for PE and sport in schools. We are held accountable for how we use the additional funding to support pupil progress and participation in PE and school sport. We are required to publish on-line information about how we have used the additional funding, including details about our sporting provision alongside curriculum details.

Allocation:
All schools with 17 or more primary-aged pupils receive a lump sum of £16,000 plus a premium of £10 per pupil.

For the financial year April 2023 to March 2024, we will receive £16,720  and the report here explains how we intend to spend it.  In September 2024, we will publish a full report detailing the impact of the funding spent and this will be available here.
