On Thursday, 28th September, our KS1 (Year 1 and 2) children were joined by children from Burton Salmon, Chapel Haddlesey, Barkston Ash and St Joseph’s (Tadcaster) schools, for the first of this year’s Sports Cluster events. Our Cluster leader, Andy Jackson, set up a range of multi-skills stations, including competitions based around throwing, co-ordination, ball skills, as well as the tactical games of ‘catch the tail’ and ‘an introduction into tag rugby’. The children had a great time, as expressed by Eli in Class 2. "I loved the catch the tail game. It was fun doing it with other children from other schools too."
