Earlier in the term the children in our School Council teamed up together to write a letter to King Charles III, ahead of his Coronation. The children said how they were looking forward to the Coronation and explained how we would be celebrating this event in school with the afternoon Coronation event. The children offered the King an invitation to visit our school and they waited patiently for a reply!
Following on from the news that the children of the School Council wrote to King Charles III to congratulate him on his Coronation, a special delivery arrived recently from King Charles and Queen Camilla. As you can see from the photos in our gallery, the children were really excited and proud to have received special acknowledgement from Buckingham Palace! “We were deeply touched by your most kind and thoughtful message following our Coronation. We are enormously grateful to everyone who took part in the celebrations, and particularly appreciate that you so generously took the time to write to us on this very special occasion."
